SW Moms Club Thanksgiving Social, Celebration #2

The Monday before Thanksgiving we had a Thanksgiving All Club Social at our home to celebrate the holiday with our friends from the South West Club.  We had around 12 moms and 18 kids at our house.  Everyone brought a dish ranging from biscuits to turkey.  The kids made pilgrim hats and bonnets as well as played with toys as the Mommies socialized.  It was a great time and I think everyone that came had a nice time.  Here are some pictures I took:

Thanksgiving Little Fishes style, Celebration #1

Last Thursday we had Thomas' Thanksgiving celebration at school.  All of the parents brought a dish to share.  Lily, Thomas and myself had fun spending time with the other families in his class and chatting with his teacher, Mrs. B.  After we ate the kids ran around, check out the video below:

Lillian's Baptism

This past Sunday we traveled to Sarasota to have Lillian baptized at Pine Shores.  Pine Shoes is special to us because it is where we were married, where Thomas was baptized and now where Miss Lily was baptized.  I'm glad that Jason feels at home here like I do, it means a lot to me that he loves this church as much as I do.  My Grandfather was a founding member, our whole family goes to church there and I was raised at Pine Shores so it only seemed right to have another celebration there.

We felt so lucky and blessed to have shared such a wonderful day with some of our closest family and friends.  It was a very proud moment for us and I know I will remember this day in the years to come.

Taking Lil for a ride!

What a sweet big brother giving his little sister a ride around the patio in his big boy truck!  Daddy was watching the kiddos while I was cooking dinner so when I saw this I had to take a picture.  Thomas was loving taking her for a ride and was surprisingly very gentle.

Kevin and Karen's WEDDING!

Last weekend two of our BEST friends got married!  How lucky are we to have family that we can also call best friends?!?  It was a beautiful day filled with lots of laughs, tears of happiness and wonderful memories.  There wasn't a detail that was missed from the superhero t shirts for the groomsmen, bling galore, photo booth and morning after brunch!  The whole weekend was just perfect and all of the hours that Karen and Kevin spend preparing for their day didn't go unnoticed, at least not by me :)

Jason, Thomas and I were so honored and lucky to have been in the wedding party.  It was the first wedding I was a bridesmaid in and I tried to take it all in and do my best to make her day as perfect as possible.  Jason was a wonderful groomsman in helping to keep the party going all day long.  Then there was our sweet Thomas who was the cutest ring bearer I've ever seen.  He was so tiny coming down the isle, turning around to head back to the front of the church then running back down the aisle to Daddy.  He melted my heart in his little tuxedo and our family pictures are ones I will treasure for years to come.

Here's to Kevin and Karen!  May your lives be filled with happiness!  We are so happy for you two!  Meeeeuuuuwww!
