PUMPKIN CUPCAKES!!!

My favorite part of Fall is PUMPKIN!!  I love pumpkin bread, lattes, candles, wallflowers, etc.  The list goes on and on.  Today, to practice for Thomas' 1st Birthday party I baked some homemade PUMPKIN CUPCAKES complete with cream cheese frosting - all homemade of course and organic where possible.  So as Jason and I ate our dinner the little man enjoyed him some of Mommy's homemade delights.  Check it out....

Diapers and Dusters

What is cuter than this little man right here?!  Today as I was trying to dust Thomas kept chasing me for the duster.  I would give it to him and would be happier than a pig in mud.  He was cracking me up so I had to take some pictures of him.  Enjoy :)

Thomas and I were a little sleepy this morning after he decided to wake up at 6 instead of 7 so I got some cute shots of the little man before we start our day :)

Monkey Man

I bought this adorable outfit the other day at Gymboree and I just had to do a mini fashion shoot with the little man to show it off!  I'm in LOVE with this outfit and want to put him in it everyday :)

11 Months!!

Thomas turned 11 months yesterday.  11 MONTHS!!!  OMG this means that we are officially counting down till the big day when Thomas will be 1 year old.  It's so crazy to think that almost a whole year has gone by.  

Last year at this time I anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first child.  We didn't know if it was a boy or a girl and now we are so in love with Thomas James and can't imagine our lives with out him.  I remember when he was born it seemed like I always knew he was a boy and instantly fit into the name that we had not connected with yet because we were keeping his sex a surprise.  

Little man you've had a busy month!  You still aren't walking but you are allllll about standing up allllll day long.  It's all you want to do especially if you are holding a toy in your hand you instantly stand up.  You have started pointing at everything and anything and also have a new favorite word, "woof."  You also love to carry toys around in your mouth while you crawl, "carrying" it with you like a dog.  Hilarious.  Maybe you are picking up things from LaLa :)

We went on your 3rd plane ride and your top two teeth still haven't shown themselves.  I can't wait for this teething session to be over with as you've woken up around midnight a few times this month in a sheer panic.  Other than that you are all about imitating everyone and make friends everyday with anywhere we go.  For instance tonight when we went to dinner you were flirting with about 3 different tables, but I can't blame them for thinking you are the cutest thing because let's face it, who can resist those baby blues and dimples?!?  

Daddy and I love you little man and over the next month we will be preparing for your 1st Birthday!  Crazy that October 16th is almost here but I'm so excited to celebrate your 1st Birthday!  Till next month....

Trip to Austin

This past weekend we took a trip to Austin to visit one of my best friends, Chandler as she finishes her last year of law school.  Jason had a conference for work so Thomas and I took a trip up to meet him on Thursday to stay through the weekend.  One of my other best friends, Emma Kate come to visit as well.  The three girls, Thomas and J had a great weekend and here are some pictures to prove it :)

1st mall ride

On Friday Thomas had his first mall ride with Grandma Lori and Aunt Ashley.  Thankfully Aunt Ashley had her iPhone and was able to take video and pictures of Thomas.  He had fun and Mommy was able to let go of her germaphobia and let him partake in normal child's play :)  He's so cute!!

Dancing to the Drum

Here is Thomas last week dancing to his Leap Frog drum.  He cracks me up when he "dances" and he has earned the nick name of Ray Charles because of the way that he shakes his head!  This kid LOVES music and is always dancing and shaking his head which proves that dancing his innate because how would you even begin to teach a baby how to dance?!

getting excited for halloween!

Thomas and I were cuddling this morning on the couch in his first festive shirt of the halloween season.  It doesn't feel much like Fall around here where today's forecast is 75 - 90 degrees but we are getting excited about it non the less!  The first day of Fall, September 22nd and Thomas 1st Birthday are just around the corner.  We have just over a month till this little man is 1 and I need to take as many pictures as possible!!
