Manny's 40th Birthday beach trip

This past weekend we took a trip to the East Coast for  quick get away to the beach all to celebrate our friend Manny's 40th Birthday.  Unfortunately I forgot to take out the camera while Thomas was around but I think some friends got some cute pictures of Thomas at the beach which are yet to come....

Tug O War

Thomas and LaLa have a new favorite game.  TUG O WAR!!  LaLa seems to think that she can play with Thomas' toys and tries to claim them as her own.  Then she puts them in his face and tries to get him to play with her.  It's hilarious!  He laughs, she talks in her growling happy way and they have a blast.

10 Months!!!

I'm a few days late on posting this but at least my picture was taken on the correct date :)  

Thomas turned 10 MONTHS on Monday!  I always seem to start these month letters with something sweet, emotional and predictable.  Well this month I want to celebrate this little man's 10th month birthday without getting all sappy.  I'll give it a try, here goes nothing...

Being a Mommy is AWESOME!  It's sooo flipping fun!  Watching this helpless tiny infant turn into a crazy, busy bruiser of a boy is nothing short of amazing!  It's funny because as adults we never remember learning how to turn pages in a book or learning how to stand on our own.  Somewhere along our journey of growing up our parents/caretakers celebrated our mini accomplishments that now we take for granted everyday of our life, and which sadly the one being celebrated will never remember.  

Thomas you will never remember these moments during the 10th month of your life that we both have laughed, cried, become frustrated and then proud all within a five minute time span.  I can officially say that now you are now knowingly throwing tantrums.  But I'll tell you this, if that's what you want to do, have at it little man, because soon you will be too old for tantrums and our spectators will not find you cute, but annoying :) 

You are not walking yet but have learned how to stand very well while holding onto someone's fingers/hand or any object in your bulldozer of a path.  You walk with your push toy/walker fairly well and we can't help but laugh out loud when you use it because you just look so grownup, especially if you are in a polo.  You are teething like crazy yet those top teeth still aren't poking through although I think the top 6 is coming very soon.  

We have so much fun and I can't wait for the next month of milestones and new skills learned.  Happy 10 months Thomas James!  Till next month.....

Cheerios for Breakfast :)

Saturday morning we were eating breakfast and I gave Thomas some cheerios to munch on while I made his oatmeal and he was cracking me up with how he kept getting them on forehead, chin and anywhere else but his mouth :)  Poor baby....

PEEK-A-BOO BABY

Thomas current favorite book is PEEK-A-BOO BABY.  We read it several times a day and he just figured out how to turn the flaps on his own.  He is very proud of himself and loves to see the baby behind the flap.  Here is a video of him doing just that at almost 10 months:

Pool time at the Field Club

Two weekends ago we went to my parent's country club and met some good family friends, the Caldwells and their 3 boys.  Kelly, the Dad had an underwater camera and my Mom and I took some cute pictures of Thomas and the boys.  Here is my little fishy in action!

This week I'm camera-less.  I'm not sure if that's how you spell it, no biggie either way.  This week I probably won't be posting any pictures unless they are taken with my built in webcam on the computer.  Here is a cute one from yesterday complete with a blueberry/apple face and a good shot of his 2 teefers :)

Saturday morning Wagon rides

This morning Jason and Thomas were playing together and decided to turn the beach toy wagon into a riding toy.  It was cracking me up so I had to take a video.  Maybe we need to invest in a real wagon, that Mommy doesn't worry will collapse at any moment :/

Last Day of Muiskgarden - Summer 2010

We had our last day of Musikgarden class last Thursday.  It was a fun day where we wore our favorite hats and had a good time with all of our friends.  Next week we sign up for the Fall classes that start in a few weeks and Thomas and I both are looking forward to it.  Till then, here are a few pictures of our last day of our Summer classes :)

BIG BAD BUMP!

We had a BIG BAD BUMP on Thomas' head that lasted a week.  Here is a few pictures that I took to document how bad and sad it was after we returned from the Dr's office.  It was a pretty traumatic experience for me, probably the worst since becoming a mother but I know that there will be many more to come but the first is the hardest.  Then, the a few days later he hits it in the same stinking place!  NEVER FAILS!!
