Tea Babies turn 2!

We have a group of friends that we hang with that we call the Tea Babies.  We call them this because we all met at the Mother's Tea lactation class for babies 0-8 weeks near the hospital that assists mothers with newborn and breastfeeding education.  Ever since these little munchkins were days and weeks old we have gotten together at parks, music class and a big party each year to celebrate their turning another year.  This year they turned 2!  We can all hardly believe it and now there are even 4 babies within 10 days of each other.  Maybe we will call them the Tea Babies round 2 :)

We all brought a dish to share and we "rented" Mr.Richard for a private concert.  Thank to Nikki and her family for having us all at their house for an awesome 2nd Birthday party!!

Baby Lily's rollin!  From back to belly that is!  She did it for the first time the other day, around 4.5 months old.  She's been doing it a few times a day so I'm happy since she doesn't care to be on her belly. She can roll from her belly to her back, and did it around 8 weeks, but hates being on her belly so she doesn't get much practice.  Here are some shots of me trying to get her in action but I wasn't successful :)

She's sleeping through the night!!!

I am supppper excited to announce that little Miss Lily is now sleeping through the night and not having to be swaddled.  It's been about a week now where she's been sleeping from 7:30pm till anywhere between 6-8am.  I think the no swaddling was key for her because she was able to find her thumb.  Now I'm not entirely happy about the thumb thing because I know it will be a bear to break in the future, but for now I'm thankful.

It is soooo nice to get more than 4-6 hours in a row even though my body is still used to waking anywhere between 1-4 so I usually find myself staring at the ceiling for a bit.  I will take that though over getting up once and twice a night for the past 4.5 months.  With sleep I can do anything!!!!  Keep up the good work little mamma :)

So in celebration of her sleeping through the night I took a few pictures of her napping the other day and I also took a video that I will post as soon as I get a chance.  They are a little dark because I didn't want the flash to wake her up.

Bath time with Babies!

Thomas and Lily are now taking baths at the same time!  It is one of mine and the kids favorite times of the day.  As soon as I ask Thomas if he wants to take a bath, he runs into our bathroom and tries to climb into the tub.  Lily on the other hand, as soon as she hears the tub water running gets all giddy.  I fill up her bath tub, put her in and she starts kicking away.  Thomas splashes around and Lily loves to watch him.  It's the sweetest thing watching them interact with one another!

Here is a video of Thomas dancing the other morning while he was watching his morning shows on the Disney Channel.  He loves this little show that's in between the real shows called Choo Choo Soul.  It's basically a rap show for toddlers :)

Thomas drives the LOADER!

We are lucky enough to have a Grandpa who own heavy machinery!  Our little boy has something extra special to look forward to when he visits!  Driving a real life LOADER!

Lily's 1st Rice Cereal!

Here are some pictures and a video of our little lady eating her first RICE CEREAL!  It was a happy and sad day for Mommy.  It came oh so fast compared to Thomas' first time eating solid food.  I can't believe that she is already starting to eat real food but I know that once she gets it down it will be fun to experiment with making her baby food. YMMMM....

All in all she did awesome!  I was kind of hesitant to start with her thinking she wasn't ready yet but I thought why not, just give it a shot.  Well, by the end of it she was all about it.  Now almost a week later she's doing awesome with it.  We still spill about half of it as she's still learning and the cereal is still really thin but she's enjoying it so I will keep giving it to her.
